SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah-Per official reports from Utah Wildfire and Rae Ann Christensen of KUTV-2 News in Salt Lake City, the Monviso Fire continues to rage Friday afternoon.
It was estimated around 8:00 pm MDT Thursday evening that the blaze consists of 50 acres and was 0 percent contained.
At the time, there were helicopters and air tankers on scene and the hot shots had just arrived.
Around this same time, the Monviso subdivision of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest and campgrounds were under evacuation warnings.
It was estimated that the fire was 65 acres in size as of 11:42 am MDT Friday morning and while no percentage was calculated, containment work has reportedly been going strong Friday morning.
The blaze consists of mixed conifer with pockets of Aspen and was visible from Mirror Lake Highway 1 last night.
