BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-This weekend, Utah State track and field standouts Jordan Brandt and Christian Sonnenberg will compete at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Hayes Track at the Haugh Complex of Bloomington, Ind.
Brandt, a sophomore-to-be out of Brighton High School in Sandy, Utah, will compete in the women’s 400-meter hurdles and Sonnenberg, a sophomore-to-be out of Fussa, Japan, will compete in the men’s discus throw.
The championships will run from Friday-Sunday June 15-17 and will serve as Team USATF’s selection event for the 2018 IAAF World U-20 championships in Tampere, Finland July 10-15.
