HEBER CITY, Utah-This past weekend, goat yoga was brought to the Heber Valley, which represents a new way to enjoy the meditation technique, per the Wasatch Wave.
This was a three-day event organized by goat farm/soap-making company 2 Farm Boys, owned and operated by Colleen and JR Cummings and was sold out during virtually all eight sessions of its run.
Colleen’s sister, Shauna Horton, was the instructor and came up from Santa Cruz, Calif. for the event.
JR and Colleen’s sons, Wyatt and Kash, for whom 2 Farm Boys is named, helped bring in the goats who participated in the yoga.
The company’s mission is to educate people about agriculture and help provide agricultural experiences for them.
The company has 40 goats and produces milk for their soap products.
Presently, six goats are on loan to Midway’s Zermatt Resort where guests can pet and feed them.
You can purchase their soap at Lee’s Market and at numerous farmers’ markets throughout the Heber Valley region.
Should it warrant enough interest from the public, the Cummings say they will host another goat yoga session.
