ST. GEORGE, Utah-Dixie State standout men’s golfer Nicklaus Britt was among the Pac-West’s better men golfers this past season and his heroics have been duly noted.
Britt was named to the 2018 Golf Coaches Association of America’s NCAA Division II PING West All-Region men’s golf squad Tuesday.
Britt won two April tournaments and was a medalist at the 2018 Pac-West Conference championships April 23-25 at Litchfield Park, Ariz. At the Western New Mexico Mustang Intercollegiate tournament at Silver City, N.M., he recorded a program-record final round 9-under 63.
Britt is a returnee on the squad, having also made the cut in 2017.
In their final year in the Pac-West in 2018, the Trailblazers posted seven top-three team finishes over the course of their last eight tournaments, posting nine total top-10’s in 10 overall events.
