Former BYU Football Player To Stand Trial For Rape

(St. George, UT) — A former Brigham Young University football player is set to stand trial for rape. A judge says the four-day trial for Parker Kingston will begin May 26th. The 22-year-old is accused of raping a friend in February of last year. During a hearing Thursday, defense attorneys presented evidence they say challenges parts of the prosecution’s case. Kingston has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
