SALEM, Utah-Austin Brown homered and the Wasatch Wasps overpowered Salem Hills 6-2 in Region 7 baseball play Thursday. Max Livingston netted three strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Colton McGhie drove in a run in defeat for the Skyhawks.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Caleb Balch scored a pair of goals and the Wasatch Wasps surged past Springville 5-3 Thursday in Region 7 boys soccer play. Ian Romero, Anthony Quintero and Kristoffer Bartholomew each scored in the loss for the Red Devils.
