(Salt Lake City, UT) — Measles cases in Utah are playing a big role in the total number being reported nationwide. Statewide, 600 cases have been reported since the outbreak started last year and 75 of them appeared this month. However, state health officials tell KUTV that the rate of increase is starting to decline. They hope the reason for that downward trend is because more people are getting vaccinated.
