RENO, Nev.-Kristian Robinson belted a grand slam and Aramis Garcia also homered as the Reno Aces downed Salt Lake 9-4 Tuesday at Greater Nevada Field in Pacific Coast League play.
John Curtiss posted two strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Donovan Walton homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Aces improved to 6-4 and the Bees slumped to 3-7.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 7:05 pm MDT in the second game of the series from Greater Nevada Field.
