GOP Effort To Repeal Prop 4 Appears To Fail To Make Ballot

(Cottonwood Heights, UT) — The GOP attempt to give voters a chance to repeal Proposition 4 appears to have failed. Several experts tell KSL that Senate District 15 in Cottonwood Heights appears to be about 250 signatures short. For months, Republicans have been trying to get voters to sign the petition. Democrats and others who support Prop 4 have been asking people to remove their names from the petition if they signed it in confusion. In 2018, Proposition 4 was passed by voters as a way to create more competitive congressional districts. Republicans have been fighting it ever since.
