OREM, Utah-Friday, Wasatch’s boys wrestling team broke a 6-year state championship drought Friday by capturing the 5A state boys wrestling title at the UCCU Center. This was the Wasps’ 24th all-time state title in boys wrestling. The Wasps have state titles in boys wrestling in 1957, 1960, 1973, 1983, 1984, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008. 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2026.
