DEA Seizes Hundreds of Thousands of Fentanyl Pills in Utah

(Undated) — The Drug Enforcement Agency reports that more than 378-thousand fentanyl pills were seized in Utah during October’s Operation Fentanyl Free America. The month-long operation targeted the Rocky Mountain region, which also includes Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming, and resulted in over one million pills seized across the region. In Utah, authorities also confiscated just over one-kilogram of fentanyl powder, enough to produce roughly 500-thousand pills. The Rocky Mountain Field Division ranked third nationwide among DEA divisions for the operation.
