NEWPORT BEACH, Fla.-Monday, BYU sophomore safety Faleata Satuala was named as the Lott Trophy Player of the Week for his contributions to the Cougars’ 41-27 win over Iowa State last Saturday.
Satuala, a 6-4, 210-pound safety out of Bountiful, Utah and Bountiful High School, recorded a game-high 10 tackles, a pick six, six solo tackles and a tackle for a loss in the win over the Cyclones.
Satuala and his BYU teammates return to action November 8 at Lubbock, Texas against the Texas Tech Red Raiders as the Big 12 season ensues for each squad.
