Accused Kirk Assassin Police Encounter Before Shooting

(Orem, UT) — Authorities say the accused gunman in the assassination of Charlie Kirk “made contact” with an officer hours after the shooting occurred. According to authorities, Tyler Robinson encountered a police officer near where investigators recovered the alleged murder weapon in the woods of Utah Valley University’s campus. The officer was guarding the perimeter around 6:30 p.m. on September 10th after authorities placed the campus on lockdown. Robinson faces charges including aggravated murder.
