Survey Finds Utahns Have Safety Concerns After Kirk Assassination

(Orem, UT) — It seems Utahns are still shaken in the aftermath of the death of Charlie Kirk. A Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll found that few people in the state would feel safe attending a political rally in the U.S. after his assassination. Only five-percent of those surveyed said they would feel “very safe” in doing so. That’s compared to 62-percent who said they wouldn’t feel very safe, or not safe at all.
