Rainiers Complete Series Win With Victory Over Bees Sunday

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Jack López belted a grand slam and Cade Marlowe also homered as the Tacoma Rainiers overpowered Salt Lake 15-8 Sunday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Joe Jacques netted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for Tacoma. Chad Stevens, Ben Gobbel and Matthew Lugo drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Bees. Following Sunday’s results, the Rainiers improved to 83-61 and the Bees fell to 62-81. The Bees next visit Las Vegas for the final series of the season. Opening pitch is slated for Tuesday at 7:35 pm at Las Vegas Ballpark.
