LAS VEGAS-Per Wednesday news, ESPN Events announced two future Vegas Kickoff Classic at Allegiant Stadium of Las Vegas. This includes BYU facing Oregon State to start the 2028 season at the venue. In 2030, Texas Tech will battle former Southwest Conference rival Arkansas when both the Red Raiders and Razorbacks were in that now-defunct conference.
The Beavers lead the Cougars 6-5 all-time in a series dating back to 1955.
Arkansas leads Texas Tech 30-8 all-time in a series dating back to 1957.
This is to be BYU’s second appearance at the Vegas Kickoff Classic. In 2021, BYU defeated then-non-conference foe Arizona 24-16 to start that season.
