Pacific Coast League
ROUND ROCK, Texas-Carter Kieboom and Cavan Biggio drove in two runs apiece and the Salt Lake Bees downed Round Rock 5-3 in Pacific Coast League play Friday at Dell Diamond. Connor Brogdon recorded four strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Omar Narváez, Billy McKinney and Alex De Goti drove in a run apiece in the loss for Round Rock. Following Saturday’s results, the Bees, who achieved at least a series split, improved to 56-73 while the Express fell to 64-64. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:05 pm at Dell Diamond for the fifth game in the series.
Pioneer League
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Damian Stone homered and the Ogden Raptors edged Idaho Falls 8-7 Friday in Pioneer League play at Melaleuca Field. Eli Elliott posted three strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Jacob Jablonski homered in defeat for the Chukars. Following Friday’s results, the Raptors improved to 48-39 and the Chukars slumped to 49-38. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Melaleuca Field.
