ROUND ROCK, Texas-Tucker Flint homered and the Salt Lake Bees overpowered Round Rock 7-5 in Pacific Coast League play Wednesday at Dell Diamond. Sammy Peralta posted two strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Trevor Hauver homered in the loss for the Express. Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees improved to 55-72 and the Express stumbled to 63-63. The squads return to action Thursday at 6:05 pm as the Bees seek to secure a series split at the least.
Pioneer League
BILLINGS, Mont.-Jack O’Dowd drove in five runs and the Billings Mustangs doubled up Ogden 6-3 Wednesday at Dehler Park in Pioneer League play Wednesday. Cole Calnon’s four strikeouts in 7.2 innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Mustangs. Damian Stone, Dylan Wilkinson and True Fontenot each drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Raptors. Following Wednesday’s results, the Mustangs, who secured the series win, improved to 39-47 while the Raptors fell to 47-38. The squads conclude the series Thursday at 6:35 pm at Dehler Park.
