ROUND ROCK, Texas-Sebastián Rivero homered and the Salt Lake Bees dismantled Round Rock 7-2 Tuesday at Dell Diamond in the first game of this Pacific Coast League series. Brett Kerry posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Trevor Hauver drove in two runs in the loss for the Express. Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees improved to 54-72 and the Express fell to 63-62. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:05 pm for the second game of the series at Dell Diamond.
Pioneer League
BILLINGS, Mont.-Xavier Casserilla homered and the Billings Mustangs routed Ogden 12-3 Tuesday at Dehler Park in Pioneer League play. Julian Garcia’s three strikeouts in eight innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Mustangs. Kenneth Oyama and Elliot Good drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Raptors. Following Tuesday’s results, the Mustangs improved to 38-47 and the Raptors stumbled to 47-37. The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at Dehler Park for the second game in the series.
