SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Carter Kieboom drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees edged Reno 3-2 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Caden Dana posted 13 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. A.J. Vukovich homered in defeat for the Aces. Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 52-71 and the Aces fell to 51-73. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square as the Bees go for the series win.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Carter Booth homered and the Rocky Mountain Vibes overpowered Ogden 13-6 Friday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Hunter Belton’s six strikeouts in six innings of work earned the win on the mound for the Vibes. Christopher Sargent Jr. homered in defeat for the Raptors. Following Friday’s results, the Vibes improved to 38-43 and the Raptors fell to 46-35 with the series currently tied 2-2. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm for the fifth game in the series at Lindquist Field.
