SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-A.J. Vukovich homered and the Reno Aces downed Salt Lake 10-6 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Taylor Rashi posted six strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces. Denzer Guzman homered in the loss for the Bees. Following Thursday’s results, the Aces improved to 51-72 and the Bees fell to 51-71. The squads return to action Friday at 7:05 pm at the Ballpark at America First Square for the fourth game of the series.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Connor Bagnieski, Christopher Sargent Jr., Elliott Good and Cole Jordan each homered and the Ogden Raptors got past Rocky Mountain 8-5 Thursday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field. Cole Stasio’s six strikeouts in six innings of work earned the win on the mound for Ogden. Dane Tofteland homered in the loss for the Vibes. Following Thursday’s results, the Raptors improved to 46-34 and the Vibes slumped to 37-43. The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm at Lindquist Field for the fourth game in the series.
