SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Scott Kingery homered and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Las Vegas 6-3 Sunday to win their second consecutive series in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Caden Dana posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Alejo Lopez, Cooper Bowman and Brett Harris drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Aviators. Following Sunday’s results, the Bees improved to 47-66 and the Aviators fell to 65-49. The Bees stay at home next week as they host the Reno Aces for a six-game series at the Ballpark at America First Square. Tuesday’s opening pitch is slated for 7:05 pm.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Sebastian Greico homered and the Ogden Raptors overpowered the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 9-3 Sunday to conclude the series at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Cole Stasio’s five strikeouts in five innings of work earnted the win on the mound for the Raptors. Evan Sleight, Marco Martinez and Quintt Landis drove in a run apiece in defeat for Colorado Springs. Following Sunday’s results, the Raptors improved to 40-31 and the Sky Sox fell to 18-53. Ogden starts a six-game series at Grand Junction Tuesday against the Jackalopes. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm at Suplizio Field.
