SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Niko Kavadas homered and the Salt Lake Bees routed Las Vegas 10-4 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Jack Dashwood posted a strikeout in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Junior Perez and Daniel Susac homered in the loss for the Aviators. Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 46-65 and the Aviators fell to 64-48. The squads return to action Saturday at 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square as the Bees go for the series win.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Carmine Lane, Sebastian Greico and Cole Jordan homered and the Ogden Raptors overpowered the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 17-11 at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play Friday. Jonah Montes netted three strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Brett Robert, Justin Johnson, Quintt Landis and Edward Martinez Pagani homered in the loss for the Sky Sox. Following Friday’s results, the Raptors improved to 38-30-1 and the Sky Sox fell to 17-51-1. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field as the series ensues.
