SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, Utah football redshirt senior Jaren Kump has been named to the Rimington Trophy Watchlist per a statement from the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
This award is annually bestowed upon the top center in college football.
Kump, a native of Riverton, Utah and a former Herriman High School star, is one of five returning offensive line starters for the Utes this season.
Kump and his Utah teammates start the season August 30 at UCLA.
