OKLAHOMA CITY-Yolmer Sánchez, Niko Kavadas, Sebastián Rivero and Bryce Teodosio each drove in a run and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Oklahoma City 4-2 Friday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Dakota Hudson netted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Nick Senzel and Chuckie Robinson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Comets. Following Friday’s results, the Bees, who have secured at least a series split, improved to 42-63 while the Comets fell to 64-42. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:05 pm at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Kai Moody drove in three runs and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox edged Ogden 6-5 at Lindquist Field Friday in Pioneer League play. Austyn Coleman netted a strikeout in 7.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Colorado Springs. Bradley Pelle homered in the loss for the Raptors. Following Friday’s results, the Raptors fell to 33-30 while the Sky Sox, despite being in last place in the Pioneer League, tied this series 2-2 and improved to 17-46. The squads return to action Saturday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field for the fifth game of the series.
