OKLAHOMA CITY-Sebastián Rivero and Tucker Flint each homered and the Salt Lake Bees smacked Oklahoma City 10-1 Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play. Sammy Peralta posted three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Hunter Feduccia drove in a run in the loss for the Comets. The Bees, who have won the first two games in this series, improved to 41-62 and the Comets fell to 63-41. The squads return to action Thursday at 6:05 pm for the third game in the series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Pioneer League
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Christopher Sargent Jr. homered twice and the Ogden Raptors dismantled the Colorado Spings Sky Sox 19-6 Wednesday at Blocktickets Park in Pioneer League play. Cole Stasio recorded two strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Zane Denton and Kai Moody drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Sky Sox. Following Wednesday’s results, the Raptors improved to 33-28 and the Sky Sox fell to 15-46. The squads return to action Thursday at 6:15 pm at Blocktickets Park for the third game in the series.
