DALLAS-Tuesday, a pair of Utah football offensive linemen were named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, which is annually bestowed upon the top interior lineman in college football.
Earning this distinction for the Utes were junior tackle Spencer Fano and redshirt sophomore tackle Caleb Lomu.
Fano is a native of Spanish Fork, Utah and a former Timpview High School and Lomu is out of Gilbert, Ariz.
Fano and Lomu are the only representatives of a Utah school to appear on the watch list this season.
Fano, Lomu and their Utah teammates start the season August 30 at UCLA.
