SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Braxton Fulford, Jose Torres and Sam Hilliard homered and the Albuquerque Isotopes waxed Salt Lake 8-3 in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Anthony Molina netted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Isotopes. Chad Stevens drove in a run in the loss for the Bees. The squads return to action Thursday at 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square with fireworks to follow after the game to commemorate Pioneer Day.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Christopher Sargent Jr. homered and the Ogden Raptors bested Boise 14-6 Wednesday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field. Cole Stasio’s six strikeouts in five innings of work earned the win on the mound for Ogden. Christian Marrufo homered in the loss for the Hawks. Following Wednesday’s results, the Raptors improved to 30-25 and the Hawks fell to 32-24. The squads return to action Thursday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
