(St. George, UT) — Lawyers for Utah Tech University are asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit claiming employees were subjected to a hostile workplace. The lawsuit was filed last November by two members of the university’s legal team and its Title Nine coordinator. They claim they were subjected to retaliation and harassment by senior members of the university’s staff, including former President Richard Williams. The university and other parties named in the lawsuit say the case should be dismissed because Utah law makes them immune to the claims.
