SUGAR LAND, Texas-Omar Narváez homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys downed Salt Lake 7-3 Saturday at Constellation Field in Pacific Coast League play. AJ Blubaugh posted seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys. Matthew Lugo drove in two runs in the loss for the Bees. The Space Cowboys improved to 49-44 and the Bees fell to 36-58. The series concludes Sunday with a 5:05 pm MDT opening pitch at Constellation Field.
Pioneer League
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Tyler Wyatt homered and the Idaho Falls Chukars edged Ogden 12-11 Saturday at Melaleuca Field in Pioneer League play. Christopher Sargent Jr. and Elliot Good each homered in the loss for the Raptors. Following Saturday’s results, the Chukars improved to 30-22 and the Raptors fell to 28-24. Idaho Falls seeks to secure the series win Sunday at 2:00 pm at Melaleuca Field in the series finale. Ogden seeks the split.
