SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Mitchell Daly drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees downed Sacramento 6-4 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Brett Kerry netted four strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Marco Luciano and Thomas Gavello homered in defeat for Sacramento. Following Thursday’s results, the Bees improved to 35-54 on the season while the River Cats fell to 45-45. The squads return to action Friday at 7:05 pm at The Balpark at America First Square.
Pioneer League
OGDEN, Utah-Kenneth Oyama drove in four runs and the Ogden Raptors drilled Missoula 11-4 Thursday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Kyler Stancato netted three strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Leyton Barry drove in two runs in defeat for the PaddleHeads. Following Thursday’s results, the Raptors, who earned at least a series split, improved to 26-18. Missoula fell to 30-15 in the loss. The squads return to action Friday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field as the Raptors go for the series win.
