Pacific Coast League

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Tyler Locklear homered and the Tacoma Rainiers downed Salt Lake 9-7 Saturday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Josh Fleming posted three strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Tacoma. Matthew Lugo drove in three runs in the loss for the Bees. Following Saturday’s results, the Rainiers improved to 44-42 and the Bees fell to 33-52. The squads concludes the series Sunday at 12:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Pioneer League

GREAT FALLS, Mont.-Christopher Sargent Jr. homered and the Ogden Raptors smoked Great Falls 8-2 Saturday at Centene Stadium in Pioneer League play. Cole Stasio netted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Trey Cruz and Emilio Corona drove in a run each in the loss for the Voyagers. Following Saturday’s results, the Raptors improved to 23-17 and the Voyagers fell to 8-33. The squads meet again Sunday to conclude the series with an opening pitch slated for 11:30 am at Centene Stadium.

GREAT FALLS, Mont.-Frank Podkul homered and the Great Falls Voyagers downed Ogden 6-5 Saturday in Pioneer League play at Centene Stadium. This game is a continuation from Friday when play was suspended as the Raptors and Voyagers were tied 5-5 in the bottom of the 6th Inning. Nolan Pender posted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Voyagers. Dylan Wilkinson drove in three runs in defeat for the Raptors.
