SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Sebastián Rivero homered in the bottom of the 11th Inning and the Salt Lake Bees celebrated the 4th of July successfully with a 7-6 comeback win over the Tacoma Rainiers Friday at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Kenyon Yovan posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Rhylan Thomas drove in two runs in the loss for the Rainiers. Following Friday’s results, the Bees improved to 33-51 and the Rainiers fell to 43-42. The Bees and Rainiers return to action Saturday at 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
