Pacific Coast League

RENO, Nev.-Matthew Lugo drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees downed Reno 7-4 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at Greater Nevada Field. Dak Hudson netted three strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Trey Mancini homered in the loss for the Aces. The Bees have won two in a row and improved to 31-47 on the season while the Aces fell to 39-40. The squads return to action Saturday at 7:35 pm MDT at Greater Nevada Field for the fourth game in the series.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Evan Blum homered and the Ogden Raptors drilled Northern Colorado 10-2 Friday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field. Cole Stasio netted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Christian Hall homered twice in the loss for the Owlz. Following Friday’s results, the Raptors, who achieved their second consecutive series win, improved to 19-15. Northern Colorado slumped to 5-28 in defeat. The squads return to play Saturday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field for the fifth game in the series.
