SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Christian Moore, Carter Kieboom and Chad Stevens each drove in a run and the Salt Lake Bees downed Round Rock 3-1 Friday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Jake Eder netted three strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Cody Freeman homered in the loss for the Express. Following Friday’s results, the Bees, winners of two straight, improved to 25-35 on the season while the Express fell to 29-32. Salt Lake can take the series lead and secure a series split with a win Saturday. Opening pitch is slated for 7:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Pioneer League
GARDEN CITY, Idaho-Dylan Wilkinson drove in three runs and the Ogden Raptors secured a series split against Boise with an 8-6 win over the Hawks Friday at Memorial Stadium in Pioneer League play. Max Jung-Goldberg drove in two runs in the loss for the Hawks. Following Friday’s results, the Raptors improved to 8-8 and Boise fell to 8-8. Ogden seeks the series win Saturday at 7:05 pm at Memorial Stadium.
