SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Michael Helman and Cody Freeman homered and the Round Rock Express doubled up Salt Lake 6-3 Tuesday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square. Robert Dugger netted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Express. Kyren Paris homered in the loss for the Bees. Following Tuesday’s results, the Express improved to 28-30 and the Bees fell to 23-34, suffering their eighth straight loss. The Express and Bees return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Pioneer League
GARDEN CITY, Idaho-Cole Jordan and Charles Updergrave drove in two runs apiece and the Ogden Raptors edged Boise 7-6 Tuesday in Pioneer League play at Memorial Stadium. Maxfield Jund-Goldberg, Jaydon Lee, Noah Marcello and Jake Hjelle drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Hawks. Ogden improved to 6-7 and the Hawks fell to 7-6. The squads return to action for the second game in the series Tuesday at 7:05 pm at Memorial Stadium.
