Pacific Coast League

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Tucker Flint homered twice and the Salt Lake Bees outlasted Omaha 14-11 Saturday at The Ballpark at America First Square in Pacific Coast League play. Endrys Briceno recorded a strikeout in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. John Rave, MJ Melendez, Brian O’Keefe and Jac Caglianone each homered in the loss for the Stormchasers. Following Saturday’s results, the Bees, winners of five in a row and eight of their last nine, improved to 23-26 in victory while Omaha slumped to 19-29. The Bees go for the series sweep Sunday at 12:05 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Pioneer League

OAKLAND, Calif.-Davis Drewek and Marques Titialii each homered and the Oakland Ballers pummeled Ogden 9-2 Saturday in Pioneer League play at Raimondi Park.

Reed Butz recorded two strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Oakland. Christoper Sargent Jr. drove in two runs in the loss for the Raptors.

The Ballers, who have achieved at least a series split, improved to 3-2 on the season in winning their second consecutive game. The Raptors fell to 2-3 in losing their second consecutive game.

The series finale is Sunday at 2:05 pm MDT at Raimondi Park as Oakland goes for the series win and Ogden seeks to secure a series split.
