WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Niko Kavadas homered and the Salt Lake Bees broke a 7-game losing streak with a 6-0 win over the Sacramento River Cats Thursday at Sutter Health Park.
Victor Mederos posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Salt Lake improves to 16-25 while Sacramento slumps to 20-22 following Thursday’s results.
The squads return to action Friday at 7:35 pm MDT at Sutter Health Park.
