MAGNA, Utah-Brody Densley homered and the No. 5 Cyprus Pirates doubled up No. 12 Wasatch 6-3 to win this 5A Super Regionals series against the Wasps Thursday. DJ Oveson netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Pirates. Cyprus next faces No. 20 Spanish Fork May 19 at 7:00 pm in 5A bracket play at Miller Park on the campus of Brigham Young University.

MAGNA, Utah-Bridger Shaw drove in two runs and the No. 12 Wasatch Wasps forced a third game in the 5A Super Regionals against Cyprus with a 5-3 win over the No. 5 Pirates. Shaw recorded a strikeout in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Easton Seeley drove in two runs in the loss for the Pirates. Game 3 is about a half hour away.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Jeremiah Hall and Reece Johnson homered and the No. 1 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles routed No. 16 Skyline 17-1 Thursday to sweep this 5A Super Regionals series against the Eagles. Hall posted three strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Jack Jaggi drove in a run in the loss for Skyline. Maple Mountain next faces May 19 at Miller Park on the campus of Brigham Young University at 4:30 pm.

SANDY, Utah-Jackie Sorenson drove in four runs and the No. 20 Spanish Fork Dons upset No. 4 Alta 7-4 Thursday to sweep this 5A Super Regionals series against the Hawks. Matai Johnson posted four strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Dons. Jose Periera, Nolan Lohnes, Colton Hall and TJ Perry drove in a run apiece in the loss for Alta.

MURRAY, Utah-Kade Marriott drove in two runs and the No. 9 Viewmont Vikings bested No. 8 Murray 4-1 Thursday, forcing a Game 3 in this 5A Super Regionals series slated for Friday. Jack Owen posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Vikings. Brody Sofonia, Bode Gladhart and Atticus Rogers drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Spartans.

MURRAY, Utah-Brody Sofonia drove in five runs and the No. 8 Murray Spartans humbled No. 9 Viewmont 9-1 Thursday in the 5A Super Regionals. Danny Blaylock posted two strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Spartans.

WEST JORDAN, Utah-Kaleb DeGraffenried homered and the No. 19 Salem Hills Skyhawks upset No. 3 West Jordan 8-5 Thursday, completing a 5A Super Regionals sweep of the Jaguars. Nick Schaffer posted a strikeout in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Skyhawks. Ethan Baldwin, Cody Johnson, Nick Bryant and Brock Litchfield drove in a run apiece in the loss for West Jordan. Salem Hills next faces No. 6 Orem May 19 at 1:30 pm in 5A bracket play at Miller Park.

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah-Case Beames and Riley Brown drove in two runs apiece and the No. 2 Brighton Bengals overpowered No. 15 Northridge 7-2 Thursday to sweep the Knights in this 5A Super Regionals series. Miles Layton posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bengals. Mick Whitaker and Isaac Anderson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Knights. Brighton next faces No. 7 Olympus May 19 at 11:00 am in 5A bracket play at Miller Park.

HOLLADAY, Utah-Caden Lloyd homered and the No. 7 Olympus Titans smoked No. 10 Woods Cross 10-4 Thursday in the 5A Super Regionals, sweeping this series against the Wildcats. Cougar Vance recorded six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Olympus. Beau Blackwell drove in two runs in the loss for the Wildcats.

OREM, Utah-Merrick Bostock homered twice and Tayden Kaawa also went yard as the No. 6 Orem Tigers routed No. 11 Jordan 14-3 Thursday, completing a 5A Super Regionals sweep of the Beetdiggers. Jayden Montoya drove in two runs for the Beetdiggers in defeat.

OREM, Utah-Tayden Kaawa homered and the No. 6 Orem Tigers tripped up No. 11 Jordan 5-1 Thursday in the 5A Super Regionals. Blake Brotherson posted five strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Tigers. Gage Nalder drove in a run in the loss for the Beetdiggers.

SALEM, Utah-Aliyah Elmer, Emmery Wilson and Leila Stevenson each homered and the No. 1 Salem Hills Skyhawks drilled No. 17 Wasatch 11-1 Thursday in the 5A Super Regionals. Mali Evans homered in defeat for the Wasps.

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Demi Miller and Aleya Wegner homered and the No. 8 Taylorsville Warriors edged No. 9 Spanish Fork 4-3 in the 5A Super Regionals Thursday. Wegner posted 13 strikeouts in eight innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Warriors.

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Alexis Hales homered twice and Maclee Willard, Izibel Mason and Kailee Hall also went yard as the No. 4 Box Elder Bees blitzed No. 20 Bonneville 11-1 Thursday in the 5A Super Regionals. Lucy Braegger netted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Box Elder. Madilynn DeGroot drove in a run in the loss for the Lakers.

HOLLADAY, Utah-Mya Palcher and Allisson Robles homered and the No. 5 Olympus Titans got past No. 12 Clearfield 10-6 in the 5A Super Regionals Thursday. Charlie Turner netted five strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Olympus. Emma Dishongh drove in three runs in the loss for the Falcons.

WEST JORDAN, Utah-Megan Gray homered and the No. 3 West Jordan Jaguars routed No. 14 Viewmont 10-0 Thursday in the 5A Super Regionals. Rita Tavita posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Jaguars.

BOUNTIFUL, Utah-Aimee Moore drove in two runs and the No. 2 Bountiful RedHawks smoked No. 15 Hunter 4-0 in the 5A Super Regionals Thursday. Ella Miller recorded 12 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Bountiful.
