WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Brett Auerbach and Oslevis Basabe homered and the Sacramento River Cats smacked Salt Lake 6-2 Wednesday at Sutter Health Park.
Ryan Watson posted three strikeouts in one inning to earn the win on the mound for the River Cats.
Scott Kingery drove in two runs for the Bees in defeat, as they dropped their seventh straight game.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Bees fell to 15-25 and the River Cats improved to 20-21.
The squads return to action Thursday at 7:35 pm MDT for the third game in this series at Sutter Health Park.
