SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Quincy Hamilton homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys surged past Salt Lake 5-1 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Miguel Ullola netted 10 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Space Cowboys.
Yolmer Sánchez drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.
Following Thursday’s results, the Space Cowboys took a 2-1 lead in the series and improved to 18-18 on the season while the Bees fell to 15-20.
The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm for the fourth game in the series at The Ballpark at America First Square.
