SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Tucker Flint homered and the Salt Lake Bees bested Sugar Land 10-8 in Pacific Coast League play Tuesday at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Caden Dana posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Shay Whitcomb, Quincy Hamilton and Kenedy Corona homered in the loss for the Space Cowboys.
Following Tuesday’s results, the Bees, winners of three of their last four, improved to 15-18 while Sugar Land fell to 16-18.
The squads return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at The Ballpark at America First Square for the second game in the series.
