SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Dalton Rushing and James Outman homered and the Oklahoma City Comets got past Salt Lake 10-7 Thursday at The Ballpark At America First Square in Pacific Coast League play.
Justin Jarvis posted four strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Comets.
Chad Stevens and Zach Humphreys drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Bees.
Following Thursday’s results, the Comets, who have achieved at least a series split, improved to 17-7 while the Bees, losers of six of their last seven, stumbled to 10-14.
The squads return to action Friday at The Ballpark At America First Square for the fourth game in the series for a 6:35 pm opening pitch.
