HEBER CITY, Utah-Cy Chrisman homered and the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles downed Wasatch 7-1 Thursday in Region 7 baseball play. Chase Johnston netted nine strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Grant Mahoney drove in a run in defeat for the Wasps.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Mariah Hights drove in two runs and the Cedar Valley Aviators edged Wasatch 6-5 in Region 7 softball play Thursday. Brenley Keele posted seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Aviators. Mali Evans, Sydnei McPhie, Liana Jones and Peyton Sandlund drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Wasps.
