SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Ryan Ward homered and the Oklahoma City Comets doubled up Salt Lake 6-3 Wednesday at The Ballpark At America First Square in Pacific Coast League baseball play.
Tony Gonsolin posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Comets.
Mitchell Daly and Matthew Lugo homered in the loss for the Bees.
Following Wednesday’s results, the Comets improved to 16-7 and the Bees fell to 10-13 in defeat.
The squads return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at The Ballpark At America First Square for the third game in the series.
