SPANISH FORK, Utah-AJ Thomas homered twice and Chase Johnston belted a grand slam as the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles routed Wasatch 11-1 in Region 7 baseball play Tuesday. Cy Chrisman also homered in the win for Maple Mountain. Kavyn Carter posted two strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Eddie Bluth drove in a run in the loss for the Wasps.

Region 7
HEBER CITY, Utah-Brooklynn Richardson belted a grand slam and the Springville Red Devils pounded Wasatch 20-8 Tuesday in Region 7 softball play. Allyx Haveron posted five strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Springville. Liana Jones drove in three runs in the loss for the Wasps.
Boys Volleyball
Region 7
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Evan Straw netted 11 kills and the Springville Red Devils blanked Wasatch 3-0 in Region 7 boys volleyball play Tuesday. Reis Brothers posted 29 assists in the victory for the Red Devils. Springville bested Wasatch in straight sets 27-25, 25-20, 25-21.
