WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Niko Kavadas drove in a pair of runs and the Salt Lake Bees humbled Sacramento 4-1 Wednesday at Sutter Health Park in Pacific Coast League play.
Dakota Hudson posted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.
Sergio Alcántara drove in a run in defeat for the River Cats.
The Bees, who snapped a three-game losing streak, improved to 8-9 while the River Cats fell to 9-8.
The squads return to action for the third game in the series Thursday at 7:45 pm MDT at Sutter Health Park.
