SALT LAKE CITY-Per news released Wednesday, University of Utah men’s basketball head coach Alex Jensen has signed 6-7 post-graduate guard Kendyl Sanders.
Sanders, a native of Playa Del Rey, Calif., has starred at St. Bernard High School of Playa Del Rey and more recently at IMG Academy of Bradenton, Fla. No stats are available.
Sanders chose the Runnin’ Utes over New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Northern Illinois, San Francisco and UC Irvine, the runners-up in the NIT earlier this month.
Sanders is a previous Top 60 pick at the prestigious Pangos All-American Camp at Las Vegas.
