SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-A.J. Vukovich and Jordan Lawlar homered and the Reno Aces dismantled Salt Lake 6-1 to secure a series split against the Bees Sunday at The Ballpark At America First Square.
Billy Corcoran posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces.
Ryan Noda’s RBI double provided the offense on the afternoon for the Bees.
Following Sunday’s results, the Aces improved to 8-7 and the Bees fell to 7-8.
Salt Lake returns to action Tuesday at Sacramento to start a six-game series against the River Cats.
Opening pitch is slated for 7:45 pm MDT.
