SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-René Pinto homered twice and the Reno Aces pounded Salt Lake 20-7 Saturday at The Ballpark At America First Square.
Taylor Rashi posted two strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Reno.
Matthew Lugo, Carter Kieboom and Niko Kavadas homered in the loss for the Bees.
The Aces and Bees both enter Sunday’s finale in the series with a record of 7-7 and the Bees currently lead this series 3-2.
Salt Lake goes for the series win Sunday at 12:05 pm at the Ballpark At America First Square while Reno seeks to salvage a series split.
